International Intelligence Expert Joins Comsure

Comsure Compliance Limited is delighted to announce the appointment of former detective and intelligence specialist Clive Forbes (55). Mr Forbes joins the Jersey company to spearhead their growing intelligence business as Due Diligence Analyst.

Originally from Leeds, Mr. Forbes moved to the Island almost three years ago to manage the business intelligence services of a Jersey law firm. Previous to this he spent 35 years in international law enforcement. A detective for over 20 years, Mr. Forbes worked on a number of high profile national and international cases combating serious and organised crime, firstly whilst serving as a police officer in the West Yorkshire Police, the Regional and National Crime Squads, and following his retirement from the service, as a senior officer in the Serious and Organised Crime Agency (“SOCA”).

Mr. Forbes managed a number of business change programmes in SOCA and, as a recognised expert in the field of intelligence management, continued to support and provide intelligence to SOCA on global operations.

His role at Comsure is to provide a comprehensive business intelligence service to clients, which delivers the insight needed to make effective business and litigation decisions. Mr. Forbes will offer detailed and independent client based investigations that include the following services; company searches, detailed personal and family profiles, asset tracing, media searches, property searches and valuations, public registry searches, background checks, local credit and debt judgment searches, basic personal profiles, due diligence and KYC, compliance verification, surveillance and human source intelligence.

In his spare time Mr. Forbes is highly active within the community. He is an avid supported of Jersey Rugby Club, a voluntary youth worker for St Brelade Youth Club and is a regular theatre goer. He also enjoys family time with his wife Karen. He has 4 children, Robert (30), Stephen (27), Greg (22), and Hannah (19).
