18 April 2016: Jersey Finance have arranged an event for financial services providers in Jersey on how to make the interface between internal complaints handling and the Channel Islands Financial Ombudsman work best.  Douglas Melville, the Principal Ombudsman and Chief Executive, will be speaking on the work of the Channel Islands Financial Ombudsman and Steve Gladdish, HSBC Expat’s Senior Customer Experience Manager, will outline the measures HSBC have put in place to handle complaints and how they work with the CIFO team.

This will be a useful event for staff that are involved in complaints handling or for anyone who would like to learn more about the work of the Ombudsman in resolving complaints.  Please see Jersey Finance for more information.

Consultations

CP8: CIFO is consulting on the proposed 2016 Jersey Levy Scheme and the proposed 2016 Guernsey Levy Scheme. The consultation paper is available here.  The closing date is 28^th March 2016.
